G. Clay Myers
Senior Vice President, Finance and Accounting
G. Clay Myers joined Allegiance as its senior vice president, finance and accounting in December 1999. Prior to joining Allegiance, Mr. Myers was the vice president, finance, chief financial officer and treasurer of PageMart Wireless, Inc. Prior to joining PageMart, Myers was senior operations manager for Dell Computer Corporation from 1991 to 1993 and was with Ernst & Young, LLP from 1982 to 1991. Myers is a certified public accountant and earned a business administration degree from the University of Texas.
Tim Naramore
Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer
Tim Naramore is responsible for information systems development, integration, deployment and operations. He also is involved in Allegiance Telecom's e-business strategy and has responsibility for the company's application service provider hosting and engineering organizations. Before joining Allegiance in June, 1998, as vice president of information systems, Naramore served as director of product development for Netcom/ICG in Dallas. Previously, he held a variety of positions on the technical staff for the information systems group at Frito-Lay, Inc. in Dallas. Naramore has also worked in information systems at Boeing Computer Services and Texas Instruments. He earned a bachelor of science degree in information systems from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas.
Mark Tresnowski
Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary
Prior to joining Allegiance, Tresnowski served as a partner in the corporate, securities and venture capital practices at Kirkland & Ellis in Chicago, where he represented Allegiance in the Company's initial public offering of common stock and high-yield debt. Tresnowski represented clients ranging from emerging growth companies to Fortune 100 companies on domestic and international debt and equity financing, mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures. After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois, Tresnowski graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law where he served as editor of the Virginia Law Review.
Chris MacFarland
Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer
Chris MacFarland is responsible for defining Allegiance Telecom's network and systems technology and architecture, developing strategic vendor requirements, and oversight of key engineering initiatives. Mr. MacFarland joined Allegiance in August of 1998 as Director of Data Engineering. Prior to joining Allegiance Telecom, he held a variety of positions with Verio with increasing responsibilities, culminating in being named Director of Networks and Consulting. He has over 10 years of experience developing and engineering public networks and internet technology. Mr. MacFarland attended the University of Texas at Arlington.
Kevin Joseph
Senior Vice President, Government and External Affairs
Working Allegiance's Washington D.C. office, Kevin Joseph leads the company's work in the legislative and regulatory arenas. He previously served as Allegiance vice president of government affairs. Before joining Allegiance, Joseph was vice president of congressional and regulatory affairs at AT&T with responsibility for public policy issues affecting AT&T's broadband services unit. Prior to that, he was senior minority counsel for the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation. Joseph earned his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and his juris doctor from Catholic University of America's Columbus School of Law.
Keith Hatley
Senior Vice President of Sales
Hatley directs the Allegiance Telecom sales organization and is responsible for all retail and national sales operations. He has previously served as Allegiance's vice president of customer services including customer implementation, service delivery, customer care and the national repair center; Midwest regional sales vice president, Houston city vice president, and sales manager in Ft. Worth. Prior to joining Allegiance Telecom, Hatley served as sales manager for MFS and Worldcom in the Dallas market. Hatley earned his bachelor of arts degree in speech communications from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas.
Richard (Dick) Anderson
Senior Vice President, Network Planning, Engineering and Operations
Dick Anderson oversees Allegiance Telecom's entire network operation, from initial planning to implementation and maintenance. He is one of the founders of Allegiance Telecom and previously served as the company's vice president of network planning.
Before joining Allegiance, Anderson was with Metropolitan Fiber Systems (MFS), planning and supervising the carrier's roll-out of several new markets. Prior to MFS, he held various planning, engineering and operations positions with Wisconsin Telephone Co. and Ameritech Services. His experience spans 39 years in the telecommunications industry with both incumbent and competitive carriers. He earned a bachelor of arts degree in liberal arts from DePaul University in Chicago.
John Dumbleton
Senior Vice President, Wholesale Services and Alternate Channels
John Dumbleton directs the national sales and marketing efforts of all of Allegiance Telecom's non-retail sales channels, including wholesale, resale and agent programs. Previously, he served as Allegiance's vice president of wholesale services.
Before joining Allegiance in 1998, Dumbleton held various sales and management roles at MCI Communications. He has more than 10 years of experience with domestic and international industry partners and service providers. He earned a bachelor of science degree in engineering and a masters of business administration degree from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Va.
Mark Stachiw
Senior Vice President and General Counsel - Allegiance Telecom Company Worldwide
Mark Stachiw is responsible for all legal matters of Allegiance Telecom Company Worldwide and its operating subsidiaries. He also oversees security and state regulatory issues for Allegiance Telecom, Inc. He previously served as vice president and general counsel for Allegiance Telecom Worldwide.
Prior to joining Allegiance, Stachiw was of counsel at Paul, Hastings, Janofsky and Walker, based in Washington, DC, and representing national telecom firms in regulatory and transactional matters. Previously, he served as vice president and general counsel at Verizon Wireless Messaging Services (formerly known as AirTouch Paging). He was also a member of the legal staff at Pacific Telesis Group (now part of SBC Communications).
Stachiw earned his bachelor of arts degree in political science and juris doctor degree from the University of California at Davis and is a member of the California and Texas bar. Stachiw is an elected city councilman in Parker, Texas, and previously served as the secretary of Parker's planning and zoning commission.
Jonathan Doddridge
Vice President of Customer Services
Doddridge is responsible for Allegiance's customer care, sales support and national repair center organizations, providing strategic, tactical and system plan directions to control and operate multiple call centers. Previously, he served as Allegiance Telecom's Atlantic regional vice president, Baltimore city vice president and general manager and as a staff manager for Allegiance's national field sales organization. Before joining the company in May 1998, he worked in the Dallas sales organization of San Jose, Calif.-based Netcom, one of the original Internet service providers. He is a graduate of Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
Matthew Fassnacht
Regional Vice President, Northwest Region
Matt Fassnacht oversees Allegiance Telecom sales efforts for the Northwest U.S. region, including existing Allegiance operations in San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose and Seattle and an office to be opened in Portland, Ore. Most recently, Fassnacht served as Allegiance city vice president, responsible for sales and operations in Oakland and San Jose. Previously, he served as a vice president and general manager for Teligent Inc., based in Vienna, Va. Prior to that, Fassnacht served as western U.S. regional manager for the alternate channels division of Sprint Communications, where his work was recognized with a President's Club award.
Akber Khan
Regional Vice President, North Central Region
Akber Khan is responsible for overseeing Allegiance Telecom's sales and operations in the Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit, Minneapolis, Northern New Jersey, Boston, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh offices. He is based in Allegiance's Chicago office. Most recently, Khan served as Allegiance Telecom's Northeast regional vice president based in New York. Before joining Allegiance, he held management positions at Winstar Communications, Inc. and WorldCom. Prior to that, Khan was with MFS Communications in Chicago. He earned his bachelor of arts degree in economics from the University of California at Berkeley.
Matt Harty
Regional Vice President, Northeast Region
Before being promoted to Northeast regional vice president, Matt Harty served in a similar capacity for Allegiance's national accounts in the south and west regions. Prior to joining the company, he was vice president of sales and service for WorldCom's mid-Atlantic region. He earned his bachelor of arts degree from Villanova University in Pennsylvania, where he was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.
Kathleen Smith
Regional Vice President, Southwest Region
As pacific southwest regional vice president, Kathleen Smith is responsible for Allegiance Telecom's sales to small and medium-sized businesses in the Los Angeles, Orange County, Phoenix, San Diego and Denver markets. Prior to joining Allegiance Telecom as city vice president for Los Angeles, Smith served as vice president and general manager in the Los Angeles office of Winstar Communications, Inc. She previously held management and sales positions at other telecommunications firms. Smith earned her bachelor of arts degree in social science from California Polytechnic University in Pomona and did graduate work at California State University in Los Angeles.
