DNS (Domain Name Service) Parking service lets Allegiance Telecom register a specific domain name for your company's future use. We'll check your requested domain name (or work with you to create the best domain name) with the InterNIC registry to verify availability. If the desired domain name is not in use, Allegiance Telecom registers or "parks" your domain name on its name server for your future use. This registration prevents others from acquiring the name, and your company can use the reserved name when you implement Internet service through Allegiance Telecom. The DNS Parking package includes Domain Name registration and Primary and Secondary DNS.
